Isa bin Maryam Hospital

In the year (1), a merchant by the name of Amin al-Shari'ah bought an eleven-acre barn in the Tabrizi Causes (Abbas Abad) to bring Jolfa Hospital there. Dr. Donald Carr, Lady Mary Bard, and Bishop Thomson completed the move and renamed it Christian Hospital. The first hospital building consisted of a women's ward, a small lounge, and a simple kitchen and laundry. The entrance to the hospital was at the corner of Pars Alley, which opened to a vestibule. Then the eastern road opened to the men's section and the south road to the courtyard. In the following years, an ophthalmology clinic was built next to the Eighth Clinic, and Dr. Gholamhossein Foroughi opened the hospital at the request of the Christophole Ophthalmology Foundation. Another example of the difficulty of the day was that the doctor carried his X-ray machine from Bushehr and brought it to Isfahan. In the solar year, with the launch of the women's ward on the south wing, next to Abbasabad Street, it expanded and became a division (Men's Hospital and Women's Hospital). At the time, the hospital had two two-story buildings on the north side, two lounges and two small rooms, and the rest of the land became a lush ecosystem of trees and flowers. The area of the hospital was approximately 3,000 square meters and its infrastructure was 2 square meters and the rest was green space and two houses (Dr. Pant and Dr. Kar's home). This charity movement joined. Doctors, midwives and nurses such as Miss Mills, Miss Berg, Miss Haven from various countries such as England, Canada, Germany and Australia have treated patients at the hospital. Shams Abadi Street was a narrow alley and carriageway during those years, and in the process of widening and asphalting the eastern facade of the hospital that was on Shams Abadi Street, it fell into the street and was demolished by the municipal order. They then built a new building and joined the two men's and women's divisions, which today are built between the two main doors and the hospital entrance hall. On the other side of Abbas Abad Street was a maternity ward which was later added to the radiotherapy unit and brought to the hospital. The hospital was also considered to be the most advanced hospital in Isfahan at the time of its establishment. Surgery was first performed at the Baghuzhkhaniyan Hospital and then the Christian Hospital. Doctors, midwives and nurses from various countries such as England, Canada, Germany, and Australia treated patients at the hospital. Dr. Shafter, a professor at London Medical College, brings residents to the hospital from England to train under his supervision, Dr. Ponte and Dr. Andranik Minaskan, an Armenian-Christian specialist in gynecology. Since the Islamic Republic of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences has been trying to keep the hospital up-to-date and up-to-date with world-class knowledge. In this regard, native, Iranian physicians, nurses, and staff employed what they could and carried out the heavy burden of hospital self-administration. Isfahan University of Medical Sciences has been working to rebuild, renovate, and expand the physical structure of the hospital, as well as to purchase new devices and tools, to improve the quality of health services, in addition to burdening the heavy burden of wages and salaries of staff and physicians. The university and its organizational forces have added parts to the hospital over the years.
