In 1336, the Ministry of Customs decided to provide a hospital to serve its personnel in Khuzestan. However, several years after the project began, due to the fact that the number of customs officers in the Khuzestan region did not exceed 500, the number of the personnel of the Customs Department changed and the salaries were contracted to a private hospital. Or a government agency, so they negotiated with the Social Insurance Agency for the sale of this part-time building. He sued and won the dispute and arranged for it to be transferred It was. The University considered the existing space as an educational / therapeutic unit, and mapped and implemented major changes to the map. But unfortunately, the rapid changes in management and the various comments on the process of building and executing the plan have delayed the work for 13 years and cost a great deal of money. After about 13 years of continuous work and diversification of ideas and opinions among the managers, finally, on September 12, 1949, the project was transferred to the time management of the University of Medical Sciences. But this still failed because Golestan Hospital had become a deserted building at that time, with equipment and plumbing rotting and many of its facilities were destroyed due to flooding. Finally, after 45 days of hard work, on 27 October 1349, the first patient was admitted to the ward on a trial basis, and since then the center's efforts to serve respected clients, as well as its medical and training staff, have been accepted. It continues to be noted that the center now enjoys other general, specialized and specialty therapies, with the exception of webinar, ophthalmology, obstetrics, gynecology and dentistry. It is noteworthy that very important paraclinical and specialty departments such as radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, MRI, cardiac surgery, linear accelerator and kidney transplant are also active in this center.
